Our Feta is a favorite, thanks to its distinct, rich taste and its non-negotiable, consistant quality.
The Feta PDO of the Kalavryta Cooperative is a traditional product made of pasteurized goat and sheep milk (collected from the broader area of Kalavryta), with high and consistant quality.
It matures for about three (3) months and is kept in beech wood barrels with brine. Its taste is rich, spicy, slightly salty, with various aromas and is dense. It is consumed as a table cheese, but widely used in salads, pies, and other dishes. It is accompanied by strong white and red wines or retsina.
